Oyster Agribusiness Graduates from GCIC Programme

Oyster Agribusiness has completed the Cohort 11 Incubator Program of the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC), marking a significant milestone in its journey to scale climate-smart agribusiness solutions.

The GCIC Incubator Program is a flagship initiative that supports climate-focused startups and small businesses with technical training, mentorship, funding opportunities, and market access. It aims to equip entrepreneurs with the tools needed to build sustainable and resilient enterprises while addressing climate challenges.

Through the program, Oyster Agribusiness strengthened its operational capacity and refined its business strategy. The company also gained deeper expertise in financial management, product development, and integrating climate resilience into its value chain—key areas for growth in today’s evolving agribusiness landscape.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Tang Palace Hotel, brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry stakeholders. Representatives from Oyster Agribusiness used the platform to showcase their expanding range of value-added products, including gari, maize flour, peanuts, and melon seeds, while engaging potential partners and customers.

According to the company, completing the incubator program signals the start of a new growth phase. Oyster Agribusiness is now positioning itself to scale operations, improve efficiency across its value chain, and introduce innovative products tailored to market needs.

The company also expressed appreciation to GCIC and its network of mentors and partners for their role in supporting its development into a more competitive and sustainable agribusiness.
